Vintage Gilded PS Decorative Picture Frames, Recreating the Light Luxury Texture of European Classic Style

2026-07-13

This minimalist botanical art print paired with a vintage carved gilded PS frame perfectly integrates classic European carving craftsmanship with modern high-molecular PS materials, balancing gorgeous aesthetics and practical functionality. It is an excellent soft furnishing piece to elevate the home ambiance.

The frame body is integrally injection-molded from eco-friendly high-molecular PS material.

Compared with traditional solid wood frames, it is lightweight, greatly reducing the load on walls, and can be securely mounted on gypsum walls and lightweight wall panels. It also saves effort during moving and replacing artworks. PS boasts superb plasticity, enabling one-time precision molding of intricate three-dimensional scroll and grass carvings on the frame and vintage embossed patterns at the corners. The lines are smooth without burrs, and the floral patterns feature distinct depth and layers, faithfully reproducing the elaborate carving details of medieval European frames while avoiding the drawbacks of solid wood carvings such as easy cracking and prominent splicing gaps.

The surface adopts a vintage distressed gilded baking paint process with a mild and sophisticated matte gold tone, free from the gaudy tackiness of bright gold.

Subtle distressed dark patterns run along the edges, mimicking the weathered texture of antique gold frames. The moisture-proof and rot-resistant merits of the PS base material are fully demonstrated here: it will not get damp, moldy, moth-eaten or deformed during the humid plum rain season in southern regions. The paint film features strong adhesion, resisting gold flaking and fading from routine wiping, maintaining an intact and exquisite appearance after long-term display.

Designed with double-layer widened frame strips and thickened white mat borders, the wide outer frame amplifies a grand vintage vibe, while the narrow inner mat separates the artwork from the frame body.

This not only protects the print from friction damage but also highlights the minimalist fresh botanical illustrations through blank space. The striking contrast between the luxurious gold frame and soft green plant imagery instantly delivers a strong vintage light-luxury atmosphere.

In terms of application scenarios, this carved gold PS frame matches a wide range of home decoration styles, including French vintage, American mid-century and light vintage cream styles.

Mounting this framed artwork can serve as a visual focal point above living room sofas, bedroom headboards, study desks or entryways. This low-cost, lightweight and good-looking PS frame restores the elegant charm of classic gilded frames via modern eco-friendly craftsmanship, endowing ordinary decorative prints with gallery-level premium display texture.
